Our Journey

From first class to first graduation

The milestones that shaped Transformation College, in the order they happened. Dates marked EDIT are being confirmed before publication.

2023 · The beginning

Transformation College is founded

Dr. Orlando Olumide Odejide founds Transformation College of Business & Technology as a tuition-free, fully virtual college for African learners.

Why it mattered: it opened business and technology education to learners who could not afford traditional tuition.

2023 · First programme launch

The first programme opens its doors

EDIT: name of the first programme, the first cohort's start month, and how many learners enrolled.

Why it mattered: it turned the vision into live classes and the first learners.

2023 · Summer Programme 2023

Summer Programme 2023

TCBT's first summer intake gave learners a structured way to build business and technology skills during the summer break. EDIT: number of learners, length, and the subjects covered.

Why it mattered: it showed that learners wanted a summer they could spend building new skills, and it became the start of an annual programme.

2025 · First physical graduation

Our first physical graduation ceremony

EDIT: date, venue, and the number of graduates. The first time learners came together in person to celebrate their diplomas.

EDIT: year · Mentors' Day

Mentors' Day programme

An annual gathering where mentors, trainers, and learners meet, share experience, and talk about the next step in their careers. EDIT: edition number, date, and participants (2025 Year in Review reports about 100 participants per edition).

Why it mattered: it connects learners to working professionals who guide them beyond the classroom.

2025 · Summer Programme

The summer that surged

For the first time the Summer Programme ran as two parallel streams, Business Analysis and Artificial Intelligence, and both were oversubscribed. Over 1,000 learners registered in total, with more than 500 in each stream.

Why it mattered: it proved demand for practical, accredited skills at scale.

2025 · Quality certification

ISO certifications

Transformation College holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2018 certification. EDIT: certification dates and issuing body.

Why it mattered: it gives learners and partners confidence in how TCBT manages quality and the learner experience.
