Build the systems that do the work for you.
An advanced diploma in machine learning, intelligent automation and workflow design — for people who want to stop doing repetitive work and start building the systems that handle it. Live every Friday, fully online, with no tuition.
A diploma for people who want to build, not just use
Most people are learning to use AI tools. AIAS is for the smaller group who want to build with them — to look at a process that takes four hours a week and design something that does it in four minutes, reliably, every week, without being asked.
The programme covers machine learning, intelligent automation, AI technologies, workflow optimisation and emerging innovations. It moves from the foundations up: what these systems actually are and how they behave, then how to prepare data for them, then how to connect them into workflows that hold up in a real organisation.
It is the most technical of our four diplomas, and it rewards persistence. You do not need to arrive as a programmer, but you should arrive curious, patient with detail, and willing to build things that break before they work.
- Professionals who want to automate the repetitive work they currently do by hand
- Technical and semi-technical staff moving into AI delivery and automation roles
- People who already understand an industry deeply and want the tools to reshape how it operates
- Career changers willing to put in the practice a technical programme demands
Eight modules, foundations through to a working build
AIAS is sequenced so that each module depends on the one before it. You finish with something you have built end to end, not a folder of exercises.
Foundations of Artificial Intelligence
What AI systems actually are, how they differ from conventional software, where they succeed and where they fail.
Machine Learning Essentials
The core model families, how models learn from data, how to read their output and judge whether to trust it.
Data Pipelines & Preparation
Sourcing, cleaning and structuring data. The unglamorous work that determines whether everything downstream holds.
Intelligent Automation
Designing automations that trigger, decide and act — and that fail safely when conditions change.
Building with AI Tools & APIs
Connecting models and services into working systems, and choosing the right tool for a given problem.
Workflow & Process Optimisation
Mapping how work moves through an organisation, then finding the steps worth automating first.
Governance, Ethics & Responsible AI
Bias, transparency, data protection and accountability — the conditions under which automation is safe to deploy.
Capstone: An Automation, Built End to End
You identify a real process, design the automation, build it, test it and present it. The programme's final assessment.
From understanding automation to shipping it
AIAS is assessed on what you can build. The outcomes below describe capability, not coverage.
Skills you walk away with
- Break a real business process down and identify exactly where automation creates value
- Prepare and structure data so that a model can actually work with it
- Select and apply the right machine learning approach for a given problem
- Build, test and deploy an automation that runs without supervision
- Judge when an AI system should not be trusted with a decision
- Apply governance and ethical standards to systems you design
Roles this diploma points towards
Roles listed are indicative destinations, not guaranteed placements.
One day a week, built around your working life
AIAS runs live every Friday. Sessions are practical — you build during class and between classes, and the work compounds towards the capstone.
Apply online
Complete the AIAS enrolment form. It takes a few minutes and there is no entrance examination.
Confirm your place
Pay the one-time ₦10,000 registration fee to secure your seat in the cohort.
Join your cohort
You'll receive your class details and platform access, then meet your facilitator and classmates.
Study Friday
Live sessions every Friday, with assessments and a capstone project across the programme.
The ₦10,000 registration fee is not tuition
Transformation College of Business & Technology is a non-profit institution, and the education is genuinely free. The registration fee is a one-time administrative charge that confirms your commitment to the cohort. There are no tuition fees, no module fees and no examination fees.
How AIAS performed last semester
We publish our own record because a tuition-free college should be judged on outcomes, not promises. These figures are from the most recently completed AIAS cohort.
Cohort breakdown
Highlights from the cohort
- Capstone automations built and presented across the cohort.
- Facilitated by practitioners currently working in AI and automation delivery.
- Students joined from across Africa and the diaspora.
- Every graduate finished without paying a naira in tuition.
- EDIT — add one real, specific highlight from the last AIAS cohort.
AIAS students on the programme
Replace this with a real AIAS student testimonial. The strongest ones are specific — what they automated, how long it used to take, and what they do with the time now.
Replace this with a real AIAS student testimonial. If a student mentions arriving without a technical background, keep that — it answers the objection most visitors have.
Replace this with a real AIAS student testimonial. One from an international student is worth including — it demonstrates the reach of the programme.
